Delete your account — Ding

Ding - Meditation Timer (iOS & Android, app id com.dkutuzov.ding)

Ding works without an account. The only account is an optional Discord connection that powers the "Together" community feature. If you never connected Discord, we hold no data about you — your statistics and presets live only on your device, and you can remove them by deleting the app.

If you did connect Discord, you can delete your account and all associated server data at any time, in either of two ways:

In the app (instant)

1. Open the "Together" tab.
2. Tap your avatar to open your profile.
3. Tap "Delete my data" and confirm.

This works the same on iOS and Android and takes effect immediately.

Without the app (by email)

Email us at support.ding@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account" and your Discord username (or Discord user ID), so we can find your record. We process deletion requests within 30 days, usually much faster.

What gets deleted

• Your Discord user ID, display name and avatar reference.
• Your community membership list and visibility choices.
• Session tokens and the encrypted Discord access token.
• Your meditation session records in the community feed and archive.
• "Thank you" acknowledgements, co-meditation pairings, and opt-in diagnostics linked to you.

Deletion also signs out all your devices. Records are removed from live systems immediately; copies in the activity archive are purged by a scheduled daily cleanup. Deleted data is not retained for further use.

What is not affected

• Your local statistics and presets stay on your device (and in your own iCloud, if enabled) — they are yours and never reached our servers. Remove them by deleting the app or using the reset option in Settings.
• An anonymous daily session counter contains no personal information and is not tied to any account.
